My Mother who is Diabetic since 1987 has undergone bypass surgery in 2008. Now she is not able to sleep for last 1 month. The sleep even if comes she gets up with anxiety. This anxiety is continuous also. She also complains of heartburn. Presently she is on Tab Torget 400 mg, Inj Hemaloss 25/75, Tab Jalra 50 mg, Tab Clavix 75 mg, Tab Embetaxl 50 mg, Tab sartel 40, Tab Nulons 10 mg, Cap Donsim, Tab Artorica 20 mg, Tab Rufil 12 mg, Inj Zyrop 5 mg, Tab cremalax TDS, she is also taking Human mixtard 5050 30 units twice daily. On advice of Dibetologist we referred her to Nephrologist who in turn advised KFT test. The values which exceeded or had shortfall are mentioned here Urea 194.1, creatinine 5.21, Potassium 6, Phosphorus 6.3, SU Acid 8.7, Blood Sugar 262 U Albumin (++). Nephrologist advised immediate hospitalisation and Dialysis. On second opinion it was ruled out and advised medication. Kindly advise do we still require her hospitalisation and start Dialysis.
